Blood sugar was 156 at 12:20pm
I had lasagna for lunch. I wanted to eat lunch a little early since I was going to be going to the doctor and then work afterwards. I'm not sure what I will eat for dinner but it will probably be in the streets. I plan on working till 11 tonight. Airport runs.

August 21, 2016 Dinner
I tested my blood sugar at 8:26 it was 154, I ate a piece of carrots cake and had Bai peach drink.
I ate dinner at 11:30pm vegetarian lasagna and Cole slaw.
I feel great but now sluggish. I will check sugar around 2am.
August 22, 2016 Lunch
My blood sugar was 248. Very disappointed. It was probably the pancake that did it. Won't be eating that again. It will be awhile before I have pancakes again
I'm having a turkey sandwich with kettle chips and a coffee. Won't eat again for awhile.
I also ate two chocolate chip cookies as well. Terrible terrible terrible

Shouldn't have had the burger last night. Know not to do that anymore.
Had one pancake, grits tofu and 2 veggie sausags.

Had French fries and a BBQ Bacon burger.
I know it's terrible what I ate.

Blood sugar was 285 at 2:30pm
Had kale greens, BBQ Seitan, potato salad and corn on the cob. Also a cup of vegetarian chili with cornbread.
Blood sugar was high. Must have been the banana.

Blood sugar was 249 at 7:50am. I didn't eat till about 11:00.
I had a veggie sausage sandwich and a banana and a small piece of cake. Feeling very emotional at a memorial service

August 19, 2016 Brunch
My blood sugar was 135 at 10:43pm.
I ate a little later because I was making an omelette for my mom.
Brunch was an omelette with portobello mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes, spinach, basil, feta cheese, cheddar cheese. Hash browns and Morning Star Strips.
I feel ok.

My blood sugar was 155 at 7:01pm. Down from 280.
I had a snack of crackers and sardines and for dinner I had BBQ tofu, rice and greens I think. Can't remember from picture.
I felt good.

I ate oatmeal for breakfast. 1 cup. I was very tired when I woke up. This was at 10:43am.

Blood sugar was 153 after breakfast and before lunch.
Having veggie turkey, potatoes, rice and green beans for lunch. I'm a little sleepy. Going to go drive soon. Not sure what to have for dinner. Taking a tuna sandwich with me.

I tested my blood sugar this morning when I woke up it was 149. That was at 7:30am
I tested it again before breakfast around 9:15am. It was 149 still.
I ate a sandwich late last night. It was veggie turkey with mild cheddar cheese on Ezekiel bread.
For breakfast today I am having 2 over medium eggs, 2 Morning Star veggie sausage and fruit salad. Laying off the bread for breakfast.
I feel pretty good this morning. I'm trying to keep this blog going. This is day 1 of taking my new insulin. Took 130 units.
Today's agenda is to work as much as possible and go to the free screening of Birth of a Nation.
I just want to be a good person and live my life right. Need to work on getting the exercise soon.
August 16, 2016 Mea Culpa
I've been behind, I didn't check my blood sugar after the am, I left my meter in the car and was lazy yesterday. It won't happen again. My last blood sugar as 169 at 1:45am. That's not bad. I'm just starting on my new insulin tonight. U-500.
It was 132 this afternoon at 3:28pm.
I just ate a tuna sandwich a piece of cheese and a Bai peach juice with ginger lemonade.
For lunch I had a hot dog and a Polish.
Breakfast I drank a smoothie.
Also had snacks of peanut M&M's, almonds and a little cheezit crackers.
2 small bags of Skinny popcorn. The pictures are from yesterday.
Monday for dinner I had veggie burger, baked beans and greens. No bread.
Later in the evening had a snack of hummus and multi grain crackers

Having a Ham Salad Sandwich and Skinny Pop Popcorn. I thought it was tina. Not going to waste any food.
I'm feeling ok. Actually I'm feeling nostalgic. I know that I need to lose about 100 pounds. I'm looking forward to getting there.

Dinner was too late August 12, 2016
So I made a big mistake. I over ate.Before I ate blood sugar was 339 which is on damn high. I didn't take any insulin with that snack. I won't do that again. So I ended up eating five cheese sliders and two original sliders from White Castle. Yes I know that's a lot. I shouldn't have eaten them. I'm feeling a little guilty. Will have to leave the sliders alone. Tomorrow I'm going to have two boiled eggs and some mixed fruit for breakfast. I bought some food at gas station. Tuna and chx salad sandwiches. I also got some hummus and bai deinks. I plan to work about 10-12 hrs tomorrow
Just have to stay in top of it.

Blood sugar was 248. Haven't started my new U-500 insulin yet. Won't be on it till Monday.
For lunch veggie chx strips from Native foods, kale greens, brown rice and sweet potatoes.
I feel ok. Need to get it going. Not sure what dinner will be tonight. Need to go walking soon. Will start next week at the YMCA.
Haven't checked blood pressure and pulse yet either

Blood sugar 258 this morning at 9:11am, Must be from the fruit salad I had last night. Should have probably taken a small dose of insulin last night. Got started a little late today so I'm having a big bowl of oatmeal to last. Will have a small snack later and then dinner.

August 11, 2016 Dinner
Blood sugar was 141 at 9:41pm,
Dinner is BBQ Seitan Sandwich and pasta salad. Lots of gluten and bread. I'm sure this will make my sugar go up.
Took 60 units of Novolog Insulin mix.
Also had 2 veggie chx strips dipped in ranch and a small piece of homemade cornbread. That was an earlier snack.
I feel pretty good still.
